As you know we specialise in providing feature-rich web solutions and we’ve been reviewing the latest advances in software, servers and operating systems in particular those using 64bit technology. We believe that this technology will provide significant benefits to our customers; faster loading sites, smoother integration with other services, improved stability and performance, to name but a few.

Over the coming year we’ll be developing 64bit versions of all of our products. Our two main web products eSPOSURE and EditWeb will be the first to be launched as e64 eCommerce and e64 EditWeb respectively, and we’ll let you know more about those closer to the time.

We’ll also be launching servers running the 64bit version of the very latest Windows Server 2008 operating system and SQL Server Database which will both be faster, more secure and more reliable. This will incorporate significant improvements in our disaster recovery and business continuity systems, meaning we can offer greater protection from downtime due to external factors.

As part of this rebrand we will be expanding the services we offer too. We have already increased the bandwidth allowance for all our hosting customers to a level that in all practicality ensures no one exceeds their bandwidth allowance. Added to that we will be launching a regular newsletter, exclusive to our customers, with plenty of ideas on how to keep your website fresh and up to date, and tips on how to promote it on the Search Engines.

As mentioned earlier the change will be made next week on Wednesday 31st March so at the moment you don’t need to take any action, however we’d be grateful if you could update any spam filters you may have to allow emails from the e64.co.uk domain.

Why is the business being renamed?

e64 better represents our future direction as we continue to develop eCommerce and other web solutions that take even greater advantage of 64bit technology. Over the years the name NETsposure has caused some confusion in how to spell and pronounce it, as well as confusion with our eCommerce product name eSPOSURE, and e64 is easier to remember, and easier to spell!

Will there be any changes in services offered by e64?

As mentioned earlier we will be upgrading our hosting systems and internet servers to benefit from improvements in performance, reliability, and security. We are also launching a regular newsletter with plenty of ideas on how to keep your website fresh and up to date, and tips on how to promote it on the Search Engines. There will also be increased features in the e64 products we are building that will give you some real benefits when launched later in the year.

As well as these changes we will of course continue to offer and support the same products and services as we do now.

Will my current/new implementation be affected?

No, there will be no impact on any current or new projects. All proposals, quotations and projects will remain valid and continue as planned.

I already use one of the products due to be re-launched, will I be able to upgrade?

We will be offering all of our customers the option to upgrade to these new versions. Because of the nature of the change in technology, upgrades will not be applied to every system automatically and in most cases there will be a cost associated with an upgrade. No, this is a name and branding change only and does not signify any change to the ownership, directors or management of NETsposure or e64.
